These premium quality carbon shrink rods are designed to stress relieve minor surface imperfections from steel automotive panels. They may be attached to any resistance spot, and some MIG, welder that has a 2T (ON continuous) trigger function. Just place end of rod onto steel panel, depress trigger and slide rod in a circular motion to heat the metal, stress-relieving high spots and imperfections.
