One of the most revolutionary advances in metal cutting, Air Plasma, has replaced oxy-acetylene and other methods of cutting, especially when working with thin gauge metals, stainless steel or aluminum.

An intensely focused stream of superheated (25,000dF) ionized air, cuts the metal with very little distortion. Painted or coated metals can be cut with little, if any, damage to surface coatings. Shop air and an electrical connection are the only requirements for the system. Plasma systems can cut steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum, painted or galvanized materials.

System capacities range from 3/16" (5mm), for thin gauge and light fabrication, to 1.75" (45mm), for heavy plate fabrication. A wide range of plasma torches and consumables are available for hand held or automated cutting applications.
